Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle form of massage  used for the treatment of Lymphoedema, which is the swelling of a body part because of the collection of excess fluids (lymph). Through gentle strokes the lymph flow and the drainage of tissue is assisted. This leads to pain and pressure relief as well as improves the immune system and promotes healing.

MLD is helpful after certain surgeries, injury, during pregnancy, chronic swollen feet and legs and after long flights.
