Monique Ribeiro
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist & Exercise Specialist
Introduction
Monique is a skilled and passionate physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in rehabilitation, movement therapy, injury prevention and specialising in manual lymphatic drainage.
In 2010, she became a certified Pilates Instructor and has since integrated Pilates into her therapeutic approach—supporting patients of all levels, from everyday individuals to amateur and professional athletes, in regaining strength, mobility, and confidence in movement.
After relocating to Dubai in 2015, Monique deepened her expertise in manual therapy and strength & neuromuscular conditioning for rehabilitation. Her treatment style blends techniques such as trigger point release, myofascial release, movement education, and strengthening exercises. When appropriate, she also applies Mulligan mobilisations, joint manipulation, cupping and kinesio-taping to optimize recovery and function.
With over 23 years of personal experience in strength training and fitness, she became a certified personal trainer in 2022—allowing her to seamlessly bridge the gap between rehab and performance-based conditioning.
Monique’s clinical passion lies in lower back and lower limb treatment (hips, knees, ankles, and feet), where she excels at restoring movement control, strength, mobility and reducing pain through holistic, personalized care. She treats the body as an interconnected system and tailors each program to achieve long-lasting results.
Fluent in both Portuguese and English, Monique brings deep expertise, genuine care, and a results-driven mindset to every session.
