Marie has almost 30 years experience working within the public and private sectors. She was Clinical Specialist and Team Lead in the UK’s NHS.
She has worked privately in London, Oman and South Africa treating a wide variety of patients from many cultural backgrounds. During her time in Oman, Marie was the physiotherapist for the Muscat Ladies Netball and Rugby teams whilst also playing herself. She has also been a volunteer physiotherapist at the British Transplant Games.
Some of the treatments Marie provides, but are not limited to, are joint mobilisations, soft tissue release/sports massage, myofascial release, kinesio taping, dry needling, acupuncture/
Marie is a member of the Health & Care Professions Council (UK) and the Dubai Health Authority.
Qualifications
- BSc Hons Physiotherapy University of Ulster, 1997
- MSc Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy University College London, 2003
- Post Graduate qualifications in: manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation therapy, sports injuries management, pilates, womens health.
Marie is passionate about health and fitness and is a double Hyrox winner.
